National Day of Prayer! Pray, people!

  • Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God's words; if help, let it be God's hearty help. That way, God's bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he'll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes! 1 Peter 4:7-11 The Message

I pray today especially for the parents who have been hurt by the addictions of their children. I know each parent is praying for God to have mercy on their child or grandchild and we will stand in agreement with them that this pain will end one day. Praying for peace for the day, strength and mercy to just do the next best thing, go to the next support meeting or prayer group and have the grace t...o forgive one more time. As long as there is breath within them there is Hope. Many among us have lost their children already and for them I say an extra prayer.
Love, hope and prayers always every day in every way.

A song and a prayer for your day that you will always know that somebody's praying for you:
