This song is balm for the soul.

 Lord as I think of many, many prayer requests especially concerning the coronavirus, and the needs within our families I call out to You that You help us, save us and make our paths clear. Lead us all on a path that You can bless and help us to see clearly Your will for our lives. Letting go and letting God is hard sometimes but we will try today to surrender. 

Praying especially for the unspoken heart requests that only You and we know about. Asking You, Jesus, to go before the throne of God and intercede as only You can. Although today we normally focus  on recovery issues, we’re praying for recovery from all diseases for our loved ones.

A good word to start the day: "Yet, the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion.
For the LORD is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him!" (Isaiah 30:18). Don't give up when you are waiting:)

Listen to music, look at family pictures of times when people were together, start trying to think about how to make Easter wonderful, even if different.

Count your blessings.

Who Could Make Normal out of This?

Do you sometimes look at your family and think, "Who Could Make Normal out of This?" Does it require faith to live a normal life in the world we live in? I believe it does!

It's impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (MSG)

Do you have a “normal family”? What does normal look like to you? Do you have to be happy to be normal? I’m about to come to the conclusion that there are no normal families, because what makes one person happy in the family doesn’t always make the other person happy. And when you have a large family it is a miracle if you can get anyone to agree on anything. Unless you are the Walton’s, and sometimes Mama wasn’t always happy with the kids, especially when they got older and sassier. 

I must concur with Patsy Clairmont, who said, “Normal is only a setting on your clothes dryer.” May your day be blessed, and don’t worry if your family isn’t normal; God loves them anyway! And you, too:)
A little addition:  Something that I posted on my granddaughter's FaceBook concerning "voice and using it" I think may apply to some others of us, myself included: Don't stop singing your song ever! You have a strong voice and need to be heard; the world has never experienced anyone like you and never will again. You are unique and you are loved and cherished even on those days that it doesn't feel that way!
